Inspired by her illustrative and graffiti background, Blue One Thirty’s whimsical works present a pop explosion through images of strong female characters. Heavily referenced are her lifelong fascinations with the macabre, comics, sci-fi, mysticism, and horror. Blue uses these references to chronicle her life experiences. Her creations feature captivating textile backgrounds and charming details that come to life with wood, metals, layered cut-outs, and aerosol paint. Throughout her work, these layered elements entice and beckon the viewer for a closer look at a multidimensional style that is all her own.

New Jersey Born, Bronx raised Blue One Thirty currently lives in Houston, TX. She is based out of Hardy and Nance Studios and shows work at numerous events nationwide. She currently curates gallery shows and art markets with Burtonesque Events. Blue is also the owner of “Battyjuice” a new creative collective that produces merchandise designed by herself and other featured artisans."
